Youth Hostels
What Are Youth Hostels?
Youth hostels are a form of overnight accommodations catering to youth, which provide basic but friendly and inexpensive rooms stays. There are many types of hostels, some offer dormitory-style rooms with separate quarters for women and men and some offer private family and couples rooms. Usually they cater to student travelers on a budget, but many also have additional facilities for groups, families and those with special needs.
Most youth hostels offer fully equipped self-service kitchens or cafeterias, dining areas, secure storage and common rooms for relaxing and socializing. Some hostels have laundry facilities, barbecues, bike rentals, swimming pools and other amenities.
Youth hostels can cost anywhere from $30.00 - $10.00 per night, depending on your location.
